UNIVERSAL CELLULAR ADAPTER

General

Setup
  • Activate the CELL-LINK.
  • First, turn on the CELL-LINK and wait for it to fully set up.
  • When there is no more light flashing or visible, please set up your camera.
  • Now connect the CELL-LINK to your camera.
  • When attaching, make sure the CELL-LINK and camera are as close to each other as possible.
  • Now get your camera ready for detection.
SD cards
  • The CELL-LINK only works with micro SD cards.
  • Please use a micro SD card between 2 to 32GB capacity.
  • Make sure that you only use Class 4 or Class 10 memory cards.
  • Please format the memory cards before the first use.
Power supply
  • The CELL-LINK works with 8x R6(AA) batteries, the LIT-10 battery pack or with a 12V battery.
  • Make sure that the batteries are inserted correctly into the battery compartment, otherwise the CELL-LINK may be damaged.
Status LED
  • During the signal search, the status LED lights up permanently green, while the signal LEDs flash.
  • When the CELL-LINK has found a signal, it indicates this by means of the LEDs.
  • The status LED now flashes for 30 seconds.
  • If the connected camera has taken a picture, the status LED lights up permanently green during transmission.

Please note:

DOWNLOAD
Installation instructions (PC)
  1. Make sure you use a Class 4, Class 10, or Class 10/U1 micro SD card with up to 32 GB.
  2. Format the SD card. (Video)
  3. Download the software.
  4. Open the downloaded .zip file by double-clicking it.
  5. Copy the 2 files from the .zip file to the micro SD card. (Only the individual files, no folders).
  6. Make sure that the CELL-LINK is turned off.
  7. Insert the micro SD card into the CELL-LINK.
  8. Switch on the CELL-LINK.
  9. The CELL-LINK will automatically install the update.
  10. Once the CELL-LINK has been updated, it will re-set up.
Installation instructions (MAC)
  1. Make sure you use a Class 4, Class 10, or Class 10/U1 micro SD card with up to 32 GB.
  2. Format the SD card. (Video)
  3. Download the software.
  4. Open the downloaded .zip file by double-clicking it.

  6. On the Micro SD card, right-click MacOS_PrepareSDCard.command and select Open with Terminal to run the file.
  7. Make sure that the CELL-LINK is turned off.
  8. Insert the micro SD card into the CELL-LINK.
  9. Switch on the CELL-LINK.
  10. The CELL-LINK will automatically install the update.
  11. Once the CELL-LINK has been updated, it will re-set up.
