Data transmission camera

General

SD cards
  • The LM2 only works with micro SD cards.
  • Please use a micro SD card between 2 to 32GB capacity.
  • Make sure that you only use Class 4 or Class 10 memory cards.
  • Please format the memory cards before using them for the first time.
Power supply
  • The LM2 works with 8x R6(AA) batteries, the LIT-10 battery pack or with a 12V battery.
  • Make sure that the batteries are inserted correctly into the battery compartment, otherwise the camera may be damaged.
Status-LED
  • During the signal search, the status LED flashes green continuously.
  • When the LM2 has found a signal, it indicates this by means of the status LED (green = very good signal; orange = sufficient signal; red = very poor/no signal).
  • The right-hand LED above the lens will now flash for 30 seconds.
  • When the camera has taken a picture, the status LED lights up orange continuously during transmission.

Installation instructions (PC)
  1. Make sure you use a Class 4, Class 10 or Class 10/U1 micro SD card with up to 32 GB.
  2. Format the SD card. (Video)
  3. Download the software.
  4. Open the downloaded .zip file by double-clicking it.
  5. Copy the files from the .zip file to the micro SD card. (Only the individual files, no folders).
  6. Make sure that the LM2 is switched off.
  7. Insert the micro SD card into the LM2.
  8. Switch on the camera.
  9. The camera will install the update automatically.
  10. As soon as the LM2 has been updated, it will set itself up again.
Installation instructions (MAC)
  1. Make sure you use a Class 4, Class 10 or Class 10/U1 micro SD card with up to 32 GB.
  2. Format the SD card. (Video)
  3. Download the software.
  4. Open the downloaded .zip file by double-clicking it.
  5. Copy the files from the .zip file to the micro SD card. (Only the individual files, no folders).
  6. On the Micro SD card, right-click MacOS_PrepareSDCard.command and select Open with Terminal to run the file.
  7. Make sure that the LM2 is switched off.
  8. Insert the micro SD card into the camera.
  9. Switch on the camera.
  10. The LM2 will install the update automatically.
  11. As soon as the camera has been updated, it will set itself up again.
