General

SD cards
  • The LINK-EVO only works with standard SD cards.
  • Please use a standard SD card between 2 to 32GB capacity.
  • Make sure to use only Class 4 or Class 10 memory cards.
  • Please format the memory cards before the first use.
Power supply
  • The LINK-EVO 4G works with 8x R6(AA) batteries, the LIT-09 rechargeable battery or with a 12V battery.
  • Make sure that the batteries are inserted correctly into the battery compartment, otherwise the LINK-EVO may be damaged.

Installation instructions (PC)
  1. Make sure you use a standard Class 4, Class 10, or Class 10/U1 SD card with up to 32 GB.
  2. Format the SD card. (Video)
  3. Download the software.
  4. Open the downloaded .zip file by double-clicking it.
  5. Copy the files from the .zip file to the SD card. (Only the individual files, no folders).
  6. Make sure that the LINK-EVO is turned off.
  7. Insert the SD card into the LINK-EVO.
  8. Turn on the camera and wait 2 minutes.
  9. Turn off the camera and remove the power supply.
  10. Reinsert the power supply.
  11. Turn on the camera and the camera will connect by itself. This step may take a few minutes.
Installation instructions (MAC)
  1. Make sure you use a standard Class 4, Class 10, or Class 10/U1 SD card with up to 32 GB.
  2. Format the SD card. (Video)
  3. Download the software.
  4. Open the downloaded .zip file by double-clicking it.
  5. Copy the files from the .zip file to the SD card. (Only the individual files, not folders).
  6. Right-click MacOS_PrepareSDCard.command on the SD card and select Open with Terminal to run the file.
  7. Make sure that the LINK-EVO is turned off.
  8. Insert the SD card into the LINK-EVO.
  9. Turn on the camera and wait for 2 minutes.
  10. Turn off the camera and remove the power supply.
  11. Reinsert the power supply.
  12. Turn on the camera and the camera will connect by itself. This step may take a few minutes.
